BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 You cant make this up

                Now that i have entered my thirties I've also entered parenthood. I'm a dad of three boys and with being a parent you start to notice their different personalities. Their personalities are so different from each other. I'll refer to my boys as Lock, Stock and Barrel. Now, Lock is 13 years old. He's my  video game and computer guy if I have a problem with my laptop I got to him. With that being said he brings me joy by debating with him. Whether it's marvel movies all the way to U.S history with him losing the debate 90% of the time but still brings me great joy. But with Lock you also get the when you were a kid questions like "when you were a kid dad what was the internet like?" and of course we would tell him about that god awful sound, like come on, you all remember that dial up sound and to download a song took 12 hours for just one song. Of course he would just look at me and just stare at me and answer me with "wow that must of sucked" and we would go through things like myspace and AOL chat and the ol' you got mail all the way to Facebook. The best trait of his is he will always tell you he loves you. Well Lock, Dad loves you. NOW ON TO THE NEXT BOY!!!!!! In comes Stock, he's 7 years old and boy does he give me a run for my money. He's always on the move can't stay still. Most would say A.D.D or  A.D.H.D I just say no he's living his life. Having said that he keeps me on my toes most dads wrestle with their kids NOT mine. He is full on WWE style wrestling giving his dad the peoples elbow flying drop kick and do i part take..............yes. He's also my sports kid baseball, basketball, football and he loves playing. My bank account, on the other hand, does not. But as his dad I would do anything for him to keep playing but he also has such a strong imagination rather it was how he went fishing for blue fin tuna in the ocean. Or how there was a robber and he had to save mommy but the best thing about him is how he's always ready to throw down to protect  the people he loves. It's ok buddy while you protect everyone else Daddy is going to protect you. LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST Barrel is my 5 year old. Oh Barrel, my sweet boy, the boy with all the love he is always hugging you and telling me and his momma that he loves us. He looks for the good in people he's the one that will hands down give anyone a chance to be his friend. He shares his soul with you. Rarely ever sad or upset. Whenever I'm upset or down he will come to me and tell me "it's ok daddy everything is going to be ok". He can light up a room with him just being around. But at the same time he is just as wild as stock he just wants to be one the big boys. He holds his own. He can also run and gun sling with the best so run and sling that gun and take the world by storm. So if you were to ask me how's parenthood going for me ........................ITS THE GREAST GIFE THE WORLD HAS EVER GIVIN ME!

To my boys if I can give you any wisdom to help you along in your journey of life it would be...Be your true self!  NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOU! Make the world yours. Show them how to play that video game give them the peoples elbow and sling your gun!
